Environment
At Augustus Martin we take our commitment to the environment and the wider community seriously and are ISO 14001 certified. However, rather than just a list of accreditations we offer our clients genuine solutions to reduce their environmental impact. For instance the creation of the Hang-Rite, Hang-Lite and Eco-Lite has enabled our clients to adopt an environmentally sound hanging board system, with 100% recycled material, 100% recyclable and reduced transport costs.
Where possible we aim to offer environmentally friendly materials and processes, including a large range of recycled and recyclable substrates. Our standard Screen and Litho inks are either water or soya-based, we have also reduced the amount of waste sent to landfill to 0%, reusing and recycling wherever possible. We employ an environmental team who utilise half an acre of space on our site for recycling. By dedicating a multitude of resources to reducing our environmental effect we hope to one day attain our ultimate goal of delivering Carbon Neutral print, Point of Sale (POS) and Point of Purchase (POP) production sourced from sustainable resources.
In addition to this we make every attempt to reduce our environmental footprint on site by putting in place procedures that reduce electricity (PRR sensor lighting), limiting transport runs by condensing the loads on trucks and evaluating our materials. We believe that by exhibiting a recycling mindset from procurement through production to final disposal, we can reduce our environmental impact and that of our clients.
